Sam Klobasa

Born in Albury, New South Wales in 1962, Sam Klobasa is an Australian Artist whose work is defined by atmosphere, structure and a refined sense of place. With a professional foundation in Landscape Architecture, his paintings carry a distinctive balance of compositional strength and expressive freedom.

Working full-time since 2000, Sam has developed a recognisable style characterised by fluid linework, luminous colour and an evocative interpretation of coastal and urban landscapes. His subjects range from marine and coastal environments to the architectural character of Sydney’s historic suburbs.

His acclaimed Vision Series, introduced in 2015, reimagines Sydney streetscapes with a nostalgic sensibility and subtle European influence. The series has attracted consistent collector interest and is regarded as a signature body of work within his practice.

Sam’s paintings are held in private collections throughout Australia and internationally, including Indonesia, France, Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Sam’s large-scale works are well suited to spacious interiors including offices, hotels, and professional environments, where their presence and sense of atmosphere can be fully appreciated.
